everyone can improvise, even classical musicians like me. musings, resources, and first drafts for a book
You have my permission to republish, excerpt, etc., anything on this site in any not-for-profit form, as long as you include my name, a copyright notice, the URL of the particular post(s), and let me know how you are using it. I also occasionally update a MSWord file with all the posts, and some unpublished essays on improvisation, which is in chronological order and includes a hyperlinked table of contents. Shoot me an email if you'd like me to send you a copy.

Gostei muito desse post e seu blog é muito interessante, vou passar por aqui sempre =) Depois dá uma passada lá no meu site, que é sobre o CresceNet, espero que goste. O endereço dele é http://www.provedorcrescenet.com . Um abraço.
Hey,
I've been meaning to watch all of these since you put them up (at this point I think I have...)
I just watched the third (the other 2 I watched a looong time ago) & wanted to tell you I think it's absolutely beautiful.
Also, you'd be excited to know that my MIDI Band began our first class today with a free improv. section. (One of my favorite things in the world)... it made me think of you.
Hope all is well.
-Mike
Thanks, Mike! And I'm delighted to hear about the free improv. I'm recovering from jet lag from a tour in China (which was very cool) but other than that I'm doing great.
